Isn't this weather fantastic! There is no better time than to get out there, find all the holes in the garden that need filling, and haul out all those non-rhodo things that didn't make it through our late cold snap in February :) . Its the annual Vancouver Rhododendron Society show and sale this Saturday May 4th starting at 10am. We will have a wonderful selection of plants including both species and hybrid rhododendrons, as well as member donated unique plants at great prices. This year we are happy to welcome Gloucester Green and Vicki Willems who will be bringing a fantastic selection of japanese maples in all sizes ( i bought 3 of them last year, real beauties ) along with a great assortment of hostas this time. So this is the time to come find some great plants at great deals and help support the Vancouver Rhododendron Society, a wonderful organization. Don't forget that Starbucks and JJ Bean are on either side of the garden entrance so come early (there's usually a line up to get into our sale) and grab a coffee! See you there.
